Wellbeing in the Built Environment

Wednesday 20th June, 6-8pm

Beyond Sustainability

Make a date to join the Croydon Constructing Excellence Club for the evening Wellbeing in the Built Environment event.

Sustainability has to a great extent become a given in the built environment sector. This has provided an opportunity to consider how design and construction professionals as well as public bodies can work together to improve user experience in a broad sense.

Croydon is currently experiencing the beginnings of an intense phase of development which will have great impact on both the public realm and the lives of those living and working there. Join Croydon Constructing Excellence Club for presentations and panel discussions focusing on how stakeholders in Croydon can use greater knowledge to ensure developments have a positive impact.

This event will focus on the public realm and exterior space.

Panellists include:

• Jerry Tate, Partner – Tate Harmer
• Floriane Ortega, Senior Consultant, Economic Development, Buildings + Places – AECOM
• Richard Mullins, Associate Architect – Alexander: Sedgley Architects
• Simon Kahn, Acoustics Director – Mott MacDonald

Come and join us for an evening at Project B, Middle Street, Croydon, CR0 1RE. The event is free to Club members. Book in advance as there are limited places available. Non-members are welcome to attend at a cost of £5. A welcome drink and snacks will be provided.
