In February 2019, John Ruskin College in Croydon merged with East Surrey College in Redhill, forming Orbital South Colleges Group. Through this partnership, John Ruskin College was delighted to introduce an exciting new Construction course offer, providing new opportunities for school leavers and adults in the Croydon community.
Building on strong employer links, courses at John Ruskin College are taught with the industry in mind, giving students the opportunity to hear from local and national employers and learn the skills needed for the sector.
With the addition of courses in Carpentry & Joinery, Brickwork, Painting & Decorating and Plumbing, the facilities at JRC have expanded to include new workshops, as well as a brand-new Construction Skills Centre, set to open in Summer 2021. This new Centre will cater to the increasing need for construction professionals in London and Croydon, equipping students for exciting careers in Construction.
Full-time, Part-time and Apprenticeship courses are available from Level 1 through to Degree Level.
